Hi, I will be moving to the village shortly, and ask if anyone can tell me what social activities there is . i am a single person of 58, young at heart if not in body. Is there any groups, clubs and or social gathering /meetings for people of my age. Many thanks |

My Ancestors, John & Frances Rix (or Rex) were innkeepers at the Weston Cross Inn between 1832 and about 1842. I am looking for any information relating to the family. They had five children, four of whom were christened at St Lawrence's but I ave been unable to access the records or find any information re graves as both John and Frances died in Weston. I have to agree. Although I have no children, I know the school and staff, and I can't believe they wany to close it. It's outrageous! |
