Cucumber and Yoghurt Salad
Serves 2 to 4
- ½ a large Cucumber
- 150-200 ml Greek Yogurt
- 1-2 tbl chopped mint or dill
- ½ tsp cumin powder – optional to taste
- A large clove of garlic crushed
- Seasoning to taste
Grate the cucumber quite coarsely or chop it very finely.
Mix together with all the other ingredients and leave for an hour or so for the flavours to develop.
Serve with cold fish, smoked mackerel or as a dip with raw vegetables or pitta bread.
